What Does Cloudy Spots In MRI Of Neurology Patient Suggest?
I have been a neurology patient for 2 years now. I am a candidate for 2 stage epilepsy surgery. Before the team proceeds, they are looking into cloudy spots found on a MRI. One doctor feels it is related to high blood pressure that can not be detected on a cuff. do you have any feedback on what these cloudy spots can be and should I proceed with surgery without knowing what these spots are?
1.The report says cloudy spots - this conditions are seen in the systemic diseases like tuberculosis, any parasitic infections. 2.Also seen in the dysmyalination process. With destruction of the nerves. 3.You need to evaluate first the cause before you can go for operative procedure. 4.In case of any malignant disease also gives as brain changes. 5.A complete blood and body check up necessary to get possible cause. Good luck.
Hope it helps you. Wish you a good health. Anything to ask ? do not hesitate. Thank you.
