What Does Cloudy Urine Suggest?

my urinalysis results that are out of range are Cloudy appearance; occult blood 3+; RBC 4-10. My dr wants me to see a urologist, but I'm wondering if I should go to my Nephroligisy? And what do the results mean evrything else is normal and my Dr said no infection. Thanks

Hello
Urine is normally pale yellow to amber colored and clear. Most common cause of Cloudy urine is urinary tract infection, followed by proteinuria and kidney stones. As your reports indicate presence of occult blood is a serious issue as presence of blood in urine is always abnormal which might be due to infection or kidney stones or tumor. As there is no evidence of any pus cells, infection is ruled out. You need to consult a urologist at the eearliest for a thorough evaluation to establish the cause of blood in urine.
