Hi,
Coarsened hepatic echotexture refers to a finding on an
ultrasound that indicates an increase in the echogenicity or "graininess" of the liver tissue. This can be caused by a variety of factors, including
fatty liver disease,
chronic liver disease, or scarring of the liver tissue.
A normal size
pancreas with a slightly irregular contour could be due to several reasons such as inflammation, infection, or benign or malignant growths. Excessive bowel gas in the upper abdomen can make it difficult to visualize the aorta, which is the main artery that carries blood from the heart to the rest of the body.
It is recommended to speak with your healthcare provider or a specialist to determine the underlying cause of these findings and appropriate treatment options. Further tests, such as blood tests or a
CT scan, may be necessary to determine the underlying cause of the coarsened hepatic echotexture and to evaluate the pancreas and aorta.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
