What Does Constant High Blood Pressure And A Pulse Of 104 Mean?
My blood pressure readings have been high. They been consistantly in the Stage 1 Hypertention. I recently went to the doctors and my blood pressure reading was 140/92. Today at the store I checked my blood pressure on the machine and it read 159/98 and my pulse was at 104. What does this exaclty mean?
As per your query you are having high blood pressure and high heart rate, it might be due to stress, because there is sudden increase I the resting jeart rate which is caused by adrenergic surge.
Persistent increased heart rate poses a great risk of stroke and heart attacks and you need to control blood pressure between 130/80 and heart rate between 60 to 80 beats per minute.
You need to add a betablocker like atenolol, metaprolol, nebivolol, metaprolol, cardevolol, according to your physician advice.
Thanks
