What Does Coughing,choking,gasping And Eyes Watering Indicate After An Upper Respiratory Infection?

I had an upper respiratory infection 2 weeks ago. Influenza tested negative. Last week it transitioned into cold symptoms (congestion, sore throat). In the past 24 hrs I have had 2 coughing attacks where I couldn't stop coughing, choking, gasping, eyes watering, headache and pain down both arms. I got really exhausted and ached all over, once I caught my breath. Is it just a cold? or more serious?

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query, as you have mentioned that you have symptoms of cough and congestion , sore throat dont worry , it can be only throat infection , all signs are of cold ,
You can take course of antibiotics one Tablet Cefixime 250mg twice daily , one Tablet citrezine twice daily , for 5days you will get relief if your problem continues then consult physician, go for investigations Chest X ray,
