What Does Cramps Without Any Menstrual Bleeding Indicate?

I think this question is more to a Gynecologist. But i am writing it here nevertheless. My periods are normally regular they range from 27 -34 days. But this time i am 7 days late, that is on the 37 day now. I have cramping but no sign of the period and feel very gassy and my body temperature is a lil high. Me and my husband havent had any sex since feb 21 2015 , as he is not in town. After that i had my proper period on march 4- march 8. I was due to start in april 3, but nothing so far. What could be wrong with me. Pls help. Thanks - RS

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
abdominal cramps with elevated temperature (fever) is suggestive of UTI or PID
So I would advise you to get urine test for culture and sensitivity, you may require a course of antibiotics under supervision of your doctor
Another possibility is acid peptic disease like gastritis or stomach ulcer due to stomach hyperacidity which is giving you lot off gas.

Maintain good hygiene
Have plenty of fluids who have will help by flushing off the urogenital tract.
You should avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food or carbonated drinks
Complete abstinence of smoking and alcohol is required

Hope this answers your question
Best wishes
