What Does 'disc Bulge At L4-L5 Level Of Spine' Mean On MRI?
I just had an MRI on my lower back. Could you help me understand the results?
L4-L5 has a diffuse disc bulge with large central protusion component causing moderate central canal stenosis and bilateral recess narrowing.
L5-S1 has a mild disc bulge with mild degenerative changes of the posterior facets combining to cause a mild central canal stenosos and mild bilateral neural foramen narrowing. There is also a right lateral recess stenosos with possible mass effect on the proximal right S1 nerve root.
