What Does Fibriotic Infiltrates On The Right Upper Lung Indicate?

Hi Doc! what does fibriotic infiltrates on the right upper lung means? 2009 i diagnosed that i had an mdr tb but I finished treatment last 2011. and my last check up was 2013, it was clear. but a week ago I decided to had an xray and the result was fibriotic infiltrates on the right upper lung..what does it mean? i am very nervous. I always get paranoid. I do not want it to happen again.... Hope you can answer my question. thank you.

I can understand your concern.
No need to worry much.
Fibrotic infiltrates in right upper zone is mostly due to old healed Scar lesion.
You had tuberculosis in the past which was cured with treatment.
Tubercular lung lesions heal with fibrosis, calcification or combination of both, fibro calcified lesions.
So your current x ray findings of right upper lung fibrosis is mostly due to healing from previous tuberculosis.
No need to worry for tuberculosis recurrence.
These fibrotic lesions will remain as it is through out the life.
