What Does Follicles Measuring 15.0*15.0 Mm Indicate?

Hello Doctor, Myself Ambika 27 years old and marrried (2 years). Still i didnt get pregenant and checked with doctor and she advised me to take Follicular Study. Scan report result for 12 th day Right Ovary is No Dominant Follicle and Left Ovary have two dominant follicles measuring 15.0*15.0mm and 15.0*13.0mm. Endometrium Thickness Measuring 6.5 mm. Please advice is there any possibility for pregenancy.

Thanks for writing to HCM

Your follicular study is normal at this stage.There are two dominant follicles in left ovary and one of it will take part in ovulation and fertilization.In right ovary there is no developing follicle.
Endometrial thickness is also normal.

Ovulation will be indicated by presence of fluid in POD and non visualization of dominant follicle.

You should plan unprotected intercourse within 24-48 hours of ovulation for maximum chances of fertilization.
After intercourse female should lay down in bed with folded hips and knees for 15 mins so that sperm can move inside the female genital tract easily.
