my daughter is is 13 yoa perfectlyhealthy and has informed me that lately when she walks the stairs or can just be sitting watching tv, she feels like her heart is pounding very hard. She was born with a heart murmur that closed and never required any other treatment

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. Looks like palpitations. In this age palpitations can be anxiety induced also. But with a background of congenital heart disease I suggest you get an ECG and ECHO done after seeking your paediatrician's help.
Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
Dr. Sumanth MBBS., DCH., DNB (Paed).,
