What Does Heavy Bleeding And A Faint Positive Line On Pregnancy Test Indicate?

Hi, i tested a faint positive on two pregnancy test, then five days later I am having bleeding with clots. I think it's too heavy to be implantation bleeding but it's irregular for a period. Possible miscarriage? If the doctor does an ultrasound, is it too early to see a baby? Many thanks

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question. Heavy bleeding with faint positive urine pregnancy test is suggestive of miscarriage.
At around 5-6 weeks of gestation, the fetus will be seen in ultrasound, but since you are probably having miscarriage it may have expelled out and may not be seen.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist urgently and get appropriate treatment before any complication occurs.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
