What Does Heavy Vaginal Bleeding During Early Pregnancy Indicate?
I took a pregnancy blood test yesterday 12/20 and found out my hcg level is at 62. I had a positive pregnancy test on 12/6 then took another because I started spotting and had a negative result on 12/15 which made me get the blood test. Today I started bleeding heavily with clotting. Am I miscarring? I m suppose to go take another blood test 12/26 to see if my levels have increased or decreased
Hi, I think you had a miscarriage or a biochemical pregnancy. It means that implantation happened but could not result in a live pregnancy. This can happen sometimes if there is progesterone deficiency or sometimes due to thyroid problem. So get your thyroid profile done. Also start taking progesterone as soon as you get pregnant. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any other query I will be happy to help. Regards Dr khushboo
