What Does Hemorrhagic Cyst Filled With Hemorrhagic Debris Within Right Ovary Mean?

results of the pelvis ultrasound: please explain what this means and if i should be concerned?conclusion: complex cystic lesion measuring 3.6 cm within the left with internal septations and prominent reticular pattern. while this may reflect resolving debris within a hemorrhagic cyst other etiologies including neoplasm cannot be excluded. suggestion of 1.8 cm hemorrhagic cyst filled with hemorrhagic debris within the right ovary. no other discrete right sided complex cyst or solid mass lesion is noted. thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Cysts in ovaries are a natural process, and sometimes it ruptures in ovaries, and blood collects in it. If its size is less than 6cm, it resolves on its own.
You have the same case but size in your case is 3.6 cm. So you don't need to worry or do anything. Its normal physiological process.

Repeat an ultrasound after 6 weeks to see if its resolving or not.

Have a nice day ahead.
