What does Heterogeneous marrow signal mean? Mild red Marrow reconversion of Patient s distal femoral metaphysis . Mild myxoid/mucoid change of the patient s PCL ? small joint effusion and mild Chondromalacia patella. Mild edema and slight fissuring of the cartilage of patient s inferior medial patellar facet. There is diffuse thinning of the cartilage of the central weightbearing surfaces.
