What Does Homogeneous Myometrial Echo Texture Of Uterus Mean?
i went for an ultrasound of pelvis(tvs) and the results said the uterus is anteverted measuring 8.6x4x4.9cm & shows a homogenous myometrial echotexture,the endometrial canal is well delineated of normal calibre measuring 8mm.there is no evidence of any intra-luminal focal lesion
The right ovary measures 3.5x2.5x2.3cm(vol 11.1cc) & the left ovary measures 2.9x1.8x1.9cm(vol 5.4cc) both the ovaries are normal in size shape & echotexture both ovaries show several small peripheral follicles(about 5-6 in number) there is no evidence of any ovarian or adnexal mass lesion is noted
conclusion :
history of heavy bleeding
normal uterus. no fibroids
normal endometrial echoes
normal ovaries
is there any problem in this report

Your uterus measures 8.6 x 4.0 x 4.9 cm and is appearing normal.
The inner lining of uterus is 8 mm which is also normal
The right ovary measures 3.5 x 2.5 x 2.3 cm and is slightly above normal volume but can be taken as upper normal.
The left ovary measures 2.9 x 1.8 x 1.9 cm and is normal.
Coming to your main problem of heavy bleeding, it may be due to hormonal imbalance, thyroid problems or anxiety related stress.
