Bilateral pulmonary hyperaeration is commonly due to conditions like chronic asthma,COPD etc. Underlying cause need treatment. Thickening of lung markings may be due to infection, inflammation, age related etc You have benign findings and findings need clinical correlation. It is good that you have quit smoking.
