What Does Hypoechoic Liver With Mild Hepatosplenomegaly Mean?
Please suggest: Usg abdomen says my liver is hypoechoic with mild hepato-spleenomagely. LFT : bilirubin total 1.7 ( direct 0.9 ) . Rest findings WNL . I am a known case of : Gilbert s syndrome Ankylosing spondylosis Ulcerative colitis . Is above reports means any kind of malignancy in my body ? Any further investigations I have to go for ??
Suspicious of a tumor. The ultrasound findings are suspicious of a tumor in the liver which may be benign. The ultrasonography guided fine needle aspiration cytology would be helpful in diagnosing the nature of the suspected tumor.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
