What Does Inflammation Around Rectum Of An Infant Indicate?
Hello doctor, I am from Pune, have 10 month old son. Some redness is seen around his rectum. I did apply Elovera lotion, it did reduce some, but its not goin permanently. He does use diapers & diapers are changed after 3-4 hours frequency. Can you plz suggest me some other lotion or so for the redness.

Inflammation around anus could be due to lactose intolerance. Lactose intolerance leads to low pH of stools and hence rash around anal region.
