What Does Inflammation On The Left Foot Indicate?

My toes and top of my left foot are red and the skin is tight. My right foot is not nearly as bad. I just had a blood work up about 6 weeks ago and all tests came back in the normal range. However, I am overweight and don’t get much exercise in. Just normal daily activities.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Redness and tightness of foot are more suggestive of cellulitis (infection of skin and subcutaneous tissue).
So better to consult doctor and get done clinical examination of that foot.
You will need antibiotics, glycerin magnesium sulphate dressing, limb elevation etc.
It takes 3-4 weeks for complete resolution of cellulitis.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
