General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Inter-menstrual bleeding(metrorrhagia) could be caused by many medical conditions some of which are:
-Hormonal imbalances
-Infectious causes including STIs and PID
-Ovarian problems like cysts
-Uterine/pelvic masses
-Contraceptive methods like IUD
Just to name a few.
With all these possible causes, i will advise you see a Gynecologist for examination and investigations. A pelvic ultrasound and an infectious/STI work-up will be very important for the start.Your management depend on the underlying cause.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
