I am a 54 year old woman on hrt have been having bleeding about 6 weeks after ceasing to have periods for well over 12 months. Have suffered from endometriosis during my fertile years had my right ovary removed several years ago as it grew to the size of an orange (it was benign. Have recently had an ultrasound and the conclusion reads as follows: Heterogeneous endometrial thickening, evenor HRT, with suggestion of some focal hyperplasia or polyp within this. 2. Submucosal fibroids. No ovarian mass or free fluid. What does this mean.
