What Does It Mean When You Get A Sharp Chest Pain ?

What does it mean when you get a sharp, throbbing pain on the right side of your chest? I have been getting them a lot the past few years and I don t know what they mean. Any ideas? (I m a 19 year old female with no weight problems, but I did have a murmur as a baby if that helps)

You might have costochondritis (not deadly at all). I have it, and all I have to do, is take ibuprofen when it hurts. talk to your doctor about this and what the possible diagnosis are. Good luck!
