Hello and welcome to HCM, The kidneybiopsy reveals is kidney disease called focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS). FSGS is characterized by involvement of majority (not all) glomeruli of kidney and each glomeruli is partially involved and not completely. FSGS is a chronic progressive disease which leads to compromise of kidney functions. The drugs which have been prescribed will help to maintain the functions of the kidney. You can continue the treatment prescribed by your doctor.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja P Wahal
