What Does Lower Backache On The Right Side Indicate?

I have backache on the right side of lower back. It comes and goes. Had it Saturday for awhile and it returned today. I m 73 and for the last week I m also craving dill pickles and the juice and no I am not pregnant. Could there be any connection?

Urine analysis, kidney function test and abdominal ultrasound are further recommended to determine the right diagnosis.

Stomach hyperacidity issues like gastritis should be further investigated.

Craving dill pickles and the juice could be related to both stomach and kidney issues at your age (73). So, better check first.
