What Does Metallic State In The Mouth With Reddishness And Bruised Eye Lids Indicate?
i have had a strong metalic taste in my mouth for more than a month. The taste is accompanied intermittently by bright red inner eye lids (top and bottom) also bright red lips and inside of mouth. Also, the outside of the upper eye lids look bruised. Wondering if this is a side effect of some meds or poisoning of some kind.
As per your complain metallic taste in mouth along with redness or inflammation inside mouth as well as over the outer lips and also redness and bruised eyelids can be most probably due to Anaphylactic reaction..
It can be due to side effect or allergy to any medication while metal poisoning can also be a cause..
So my suggestion is to consult a Medicine specialist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like blood test can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you can take anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and redness.. Do cool compresses over the lips and eyelids and suck ice pops..
Hope this information helps..
Regards.
