What Does Mild Hydrometria With Intramural Nodule ?
hi doctor, i believe i had a miscarriage last february 9. Didnt had a menstruation on january i checked it with a pt and it indicated positive. after two weeks, heavy bleeding occured. now my tvs results shows: -mild hydrometria with intramural nodule. endometrial polyp considered. correlation with hsg suggested for further evaluation. bilateral polycystic ovaries
Hydrometra is the presence of water or fluid in the endometrial cavity, and the nodule could be the polyp. The polyp may have been there already before you got pregnant. And such, caused the abortion as manifested by the heavy bleeding. Fluid in the uterine cavity may be the residual blood from the previous abortion. Cysts in the ovary are normal occurrence during pregancy but it will eventually regress as the hormones go back to normal state after the abortion.
Feel free to consult again if there will be unusualities in your diagnostic work up. Thank you,
Dr. Eric
