What Does Moderate Degenerative Changes Of Bilateral Hips Mean In An MRI?
On the MRI the IMPRESSION is 1. Mild to Moderate degenerative changes of bilateral hips, more noteble in the acetabular component. 2. Atherosclerotic changes of the vesels ,more noteble in the right thigh. What is required to do?Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi i do care for your concern. The study shows that the place at the meeting of hip joint and femur (leg bone) is undergoing degeneration. The blood supply particularly to right side is compromised. These changes occurs in old age. If you have consistent pain or difficulty in walking its advisable to consult your orthopaedician and discuss further course of management. Hope i have answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask. Thank you.
