Hello and welcome to HCM,
The pain radiating from shoulder to right arm could be muscular in origin.
Is there any history of trauma or injury to the back?
Injury or trauma can often lead to muscular pain.
Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory and pain relieving drug but it will not help muscle spasm.
Thus, I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment to confirm that the pain is due to muscle spasm.
Muscle relaxant will help to relieve the pain caused by spasm.
Hot fomentation will also help if pain turns out to be due to muscle spasm.
You may continue with ibuprofen if it is helping the pain.

Thanks and take care
