What Does My CT PNS Report Suggest?
Sir,
Recently I had a CT PNS, as I have been suffering from severe fever, headache, runny nose, chest tightness, which revealed the following results:
Technic:Serial coronal sections of PNS taken using 2.5 mm collimation.
Result:
1. Mild DNS to left
2. Right concha bullosa
3. Soft tissue densities in left maxillary sinus - Mucosal thickening.
4. Right maxillary, bilateral frontal, ethmoidal and sphenoidal sinuses are normal.
5. Both osteometal complexes are normal.
6. Bony walls of the sinus are normal.
Is there any critical problem as per the results?
Can you plz suggest me what to do?

The CT scan dose not reveal any serious abnormalities and your condition can be controlled with medications. But you shouldbe awared that you have nasal allergy and this will lead to more changes in future if not treated and maintained adequately.
