What Does My CT Scan Indicate?
Hi sir my father has taken a CT scan in that scan report they have mentioned like
Evidence of soft tissue lesion arising from left mid posteriolateral chest wall involving internal oblique muscle showing mild contrast enhacement.
Both lungs show few fibrotic bands.

The CT scan shows the presence of abnormal soft tissue area in the muscle of the chest wall on the sides. The measurement of the area is not mentioned so it is difficult to say if a guided biopsy is possible to know the tissue diagnosis. It can be an infection in the chest wall of a tumor. The diagnosis needs confirmation by pathological investigations.
