What Does My MRI Scan Findings Below Indicate?

I had back surgery on l4 l5 (microdisectomy?). Im still having lots of pain and therapy isnt helping. I recently had an mri and the doctor told me he looked over the mri but didnt read report because there was nothing shown in the mri. I so requested an mri report for myself. This is what was reported in the conclusion. Maybe you can tell me what this means and if therapy will help? Because so far im on my 16th visit still having pain. 1: status post laminectomy l4-5 without recurrent or residual disc herniation. 2: subtle degenerative retrolisthesis of l5 on s1 with pseudodisc of listhesis with enhancing annular rent and mild facet arthropathy resulting in mild left and mild to moderate right proximal foraminal narrowing with abutment of the exiting right l5 nerve root and the descending s1 nerve roots bilaterally. 3: when comparison is made with previous written report on 11/14/2013, patient has undergone the aforementioned surgery at the l4-l5 level. Retrolisthesis of l5 on s1 is new. Abutment of the exiting right l5 and descending s1 nerve roots bilaterally was not previously mentioned and may also be new.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The report suggest there is no complication like re bulge at the post operative site, no evidence of any infective features.
2.The present symptoms are due to the exiting nerve root compression at the level of L5-S1.
3.There is disc bulge at the L5-S1 causing the thecal sac indentation with nerve root compression.
4. Possible previously there the findings were insignificant and present study shows compression or L4-5 where very significant comparatively.
5.In this case the treatment initially physiotherapy and followed by operative depending on the treatment effect and good bed rest is suggested.

Good luck.
