What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

Hi, I received the radiology report from my MRI, in which they were seeking to rule out MS. It states"Some dilated perivascular spaces scattered throughout the brain, basal ganglia and vertex.. Relatively symmetric. 2. No significant white matter disease, burden."
Does this indicate that I do or do not need further MS testing?

Hi
I have gone through your MRI brain.bilateral relatively symmetric perivascular spaces through out brain , basal ganglia & vertex indicates VR ( virchow robin space).absent white matter disease.multiple sclerosis is demyelinating disease with white matter involvement.eventhough your MRI doent show any findings still neefs to investigate for it.sometimes a varient called neuromyelitis optica shows involvement of spinal cord & optic nerve.so further evaluation for multiple sclerosis is required.
Thank you
With best regards
Vasundhara
