Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 52 years old. I am an RN and sometimes a little medical knowledge is dangerous. Had an MRI last week. Results revealed I have avulsion of right hamstring tendon from its origin on the is hail tuberosity. Completely involves the long head biceps femoris and tendons. Four years ago I had tears in my gluteus medius and had surgery to repair. Ironically the MRI also revealed a 4.0 cm mass in the pelvis. I am worried about cancer. I was immediately scheduled for a pelvic ultrasound this Monday. I ve been very tired and I am having severe back pain. Any advice?
