Dear Doctor Mr Name Is Nazer Abdul I am 52 years Old Had an Accident in 2009 and on the 3rd of July 2016 My Mri Report There is decrease to the normal cervical curve slight loss of T2 weighted signal from C4/5 and C5/6 disc with the impression of subtle posterior disc space narrowing at the C5/6 level suggesting early degeneratiom/ dessication of the discs There is prominence of the anteroinferior margins of the C4 and C5 vertebral bodies in keeping with early degeneration At the C3/4 level there is a slight attenuated appearance to the intervertebral canal on the right compared to the left which appears to be associated with a slight neurocentral joint degeneration on the right compared to the left at this level. At level C4/5, Central posterior disc bulge causes a central anterior mild impression on the thecal sac. There is a degree of neurocentral joint degeneration bilaterally, slighthly more prominent on the right which causes a slight degree of encroachment on the intervertebral canals bilaterally at the C4/5 levels At The C5/6 Level, Mild posterior annular/ discs bulging causes a mild anterior impression on the thecal sac There is a mildy attenuated appearance to the intervertebral canal at the C5/6 level associated with a degree of neurocentral joint degeneration at this level. There are disc bulges with associated changes at the C4/5 and C5/ levels with other associated findings as noted above.
Nothing to worry. Most results are normal. The only thing is the MCV is bit high suggesting larger sized blood cells. Maybe due to vitamin b12 and folate deficiency.
That's the commonest cause though there are many. Rest all urea creatinine etc are normal. Uric acid is lower side n low is good.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr KHYATI SEGAN, Pathologist and Microbiologist
