What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?

What drugs can I use to prevent migraines? I am a 66 year old woman, healthy. I had an MRI and all looks good. I have read that Magnesium and Riboflavin are good to take as a preventative. Any suggestions. I am getting about one a week. I get the aura and if I take Excedrin migraine I don t get the headache. But I hate the aura. Thank you

Hi,

If megrain comes this quickly, we need to take some medicine for prevention. There are many effective drugs for migrain prevention. The first line is propranolol (inderal), or topiramate. Other icloud amitryptyline, valproic acid, etc. So you can use any of them with your doctor prescription. Magnesium and riboflavin may help but lack evidence.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
