Radiologist 's  Response
Hi,

Your problem area can be the neck and cervical spine. The nerves to the hand and shoulder come from the cervical spinal cord.

Please get X-ray cervical spine done and if there is a need then your doctor will tell you to get MRI cervical spine done.

I am not sure if the previous MRI scan is brain scan or cervical spine. Please discuss the previous scan with your doctors.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Vivek Chail, Radiologist
