i am going for an MRI of my head. My Neurologist prescribed Prednisone 50 mg before my MRI at 10 a.m. 1 13 hours prior to mri 1 7 hours prior to mri 1 1 hour prior to mri plus 1 tablet of banophen 50 mgs. Im also told that i would be getting a dye contrast. Please advise.

welcome to hcm. ...when a person is given contrasr dye for MRI there may be allergic reactions so your neurologist provided you with prednisolone which is a potent antiallergy or antidrug reaction drug ...it is standard procedure ...donot worry ...
