Hello and welcome to HCM, The report suggests that MRI scan of the cervical region is done. Tonsillar herniation refers to herniation or bulging of tonsils of cerebellum from the cranium into the spinal canal. Tonsillar herniation usually occurs due to raised cerebro-spinal fluid (CSF) pressure. Consult your doctor for clinical assessment, to find the cause of tonsillar bulging and thus management.
