Hello

Fluid in cul de sac may be due to many causes like physiological during ovulation, pelvic inflammatory disease(PID)etc.
This need clinical correlation and further investigations.
You may need routine hemogram, random blood sugar, urine RE/ME,specific test for pelvic inflammatory disease etc.
Aspiration of fluid and culture may be needed in selected cases.
Empirically you are rightly prescribed antibiotics.
Further treatment plan depend upon findings.

Take Care
