What Does My Blood Test Result Indicate?

Blood result showing for my 23 month son.



Hemoglobyn - 10.7

MCV-67.16

MCH-22.53

PCV-31.9

Lymphocyte -58%

Other counts looks in normal range like

RBC,MCHC,WBC,RDW



Serum Alkalyn Phosfate - 756lU\lit - which looks like higher Range -


Any idea what exactly it indiacate ?

Hi!
Low Hemoglobin ,MCV,MCH indicate microcytic hypocchromic anaemia.Iron deficiency is the most important cause especially in children who take too much cow's milk.Your child is showing normal RBC and RDW hence must be ruled out for beta thallasemia trait which is quite common.A futher testing with complete iron panel and hemoglobin electrophoresis will make the picture clear.
