Respected Ma'm
Thank You for contacting HCM.
Welcome to Health Care Magic.
My name is Dr Muhammad Ahmad & i will look into your problem.
I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way.
You Din't mention why did you get you blood work done if it was some routine exam or you had any issues going,if you had done this it would have been really helpful for us to guide you through this .
Highest range of
WBC is 10 and yours are 10.5 so it isn't alarming individually.
This minor difference can also be an error of testing as well that has to be kept in mind
Eosinophills: they show
allergy,
-
asthma or
-worms in your GUT
- Now as you haven't given us full details so we can't comment what caused them to rise here though their rise isn't alarming if you'v been having allergies ,asthma
COPD ,skin rashes or worms lately. You can easily deal with these minor issues.
Hematocrit: Its the percentage of blood cells in whole blood or you can say amount of solid blood extracted out of water present in blood so it is a relative term you run a marathon and dont drink water solid blood(hematocrit) will increase ,
You drink ample water it decreases,
In
iron deficiency ,size of blood cells decreases so hematocrit decreases now again we are short of details as you haven't prvided us with
hemoglobin and MCV values,
Opinion:
(1) WBC : Not alarmingly high
(2)Eosinophills : consider having a reason of their increases and get rid of it ...as eosinophills are part of wbc so as eocinipholls decrease,WBC will automaticly go below 10.5
(3) Hematocrit: OK for your age: eat good foods with protein, iron
folate, stay away from alcohol and try to stay mobile and you are good to go...discuss your doctor about supplements.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you good health
