Hello Good morning, I made a brain scan and this was the result, iam 56 years old
1. Mild widening of extra axial CSF spaces cortical brain sulci. 2. normal seize and configuration of the ventricular no cerebral or cerebellar areas of abnormal at no c.t evidence of fresh blood density no intra or extra - axial masses or collections no midline shift posterior fossa structures show no gross conclusion mild cortical involutional brain changes
CT scan report indicate mild cerebral cortical atrophy. This is age related finding and it is expected in all persons. It develops due to aging. With aging there is shrinkage of brain parenchyma and this allows CSF to expand. This is the reason for widening of CSF spaces.
This is a benign conditions and dosn't require any treatment. It is not a serious condition.
Get well soon. Take Care Dr.Indu Bhushan
