What Does My Kidney Report Mean?

Dear Dr. sir
my Ncct-kub shows radio-opeque density of 8.7 mm & 7.2 mm are seen in pelvis on left & right side respectively.
impression: CT KUB reveals:-
* no radio opeque calculi like density in either kidney
* radio opeque density in pelvis which could be calculi
* as ureters are not dilated so it is difficult to comment
Advised CT urography.

kindly explain what it means

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The CT scan of the KUB (kidney-ureter-pelvis region) shows presence of radio-opacities in the pelvis.
These opacities cannot be clearly identified as stones on the CT scan of the KUB region.
Thus, further more informative investigations needs to be done i.e. Ct urography.
You can go for CT urography for more information and to ascertain what the opacities are.

Thanks and take care
