I feeling better than before but still I am experiencing weakness.. And I am also not able to join my office work. Please suggest and give your review and what food should I take to get better quickly. Thank you Imran
Dear Imran . Hello.Based on your description and the medication that your doctor has prescribed, your problem appears to be that of gallstones. The medicine called Uroscol is generally used to dissolve gallstones. I presume that an ultrasound of your abdomen has been done since this is a necessary test for gallstone detection. I also presume that the possibility of viral hepatitis that is Hepatitis B/C and Hepatitis A has been excluded. The fact that your urine is lighter indicates that your jaundice is resolving. If your gallstones have dissolved hopefully things will be ok. However getting a fever again may suggest an infection of the bile ducts called as cholangitis which needs review with your physician. Please continue your medication. My suggestions : If tests such as Hepatitis B and C have not been done please do get them done. If abdominal ultrasound has not been done please do get that done as well. You may post the results of those tests so that I may guide you better. You will feel better in due course. If your gallstones are of the cholesterol type you may have to cut down on your fat content in your diet . Meanwhile, if you have further queries please feel free to post them here . Best regards
