I am a Consultant Pathologist with 15 years of experience in diagnostic histopathology, cytopathology , clinical pathology, laboratory management, clinicopathological correlation and interpretation.My qualifications are MBBS, MD(Pathology), DNB (Pathology). I have obtained the associateship of the Royal College of Pathologists, UK by examination in histopathology. I have also obtained sub speciality training in hematopathology. My experience in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine includes managing ISO certified laboratories in India and overseas . My goal in life is to disseminate medical knowledge especially regarding pathology in a manner that empowers patients to take the right decisions regarding their health. I am also actively involved in infusing this work ethic in my students and in distilling evidence based information in laboratory medicine. My special skills include performing and interpreting fine needle aspiration cytology and bone marrow aspirates and biopsies. I have been trained in a broad based manner in anatomical pathology , clinical pathology, lab management and research. My professional memberships include Karnataka Chapter of Indian Association of Pathologists & Microbiologists KCIAPM, Royal College of Pathologists,UK, PathoIndia, Specialist Pathologist-Docplexus India and Research Gate scientific scholar.
