What Does My Pap Smear Test Report Suggest?

i got my smear test report and it says that i have present squamous superficial cells squamous metaplasia endrocervical cells neutrophils the rest are marked as absent and its reported as being a normal smear - but im concerned about the above present list

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the Pap smear is as follows:
Pap test is a screening test done to detect premalignant and malignant lesions of the cervix.
Your pap test shows presence of squamous epithelial cells, metaplastic cells and neutrophils.
Squamous epithelial cells are the normal cells of cervix which line the cervix.
Metaplastic cells are the cells present in the transformation zone of cervix.
Neutrophils are acute inflammatory cells of the genital tract.
When present in excess, neutrophils suggest infection.
However, in your case the findings are within normal limit.
There is nothing to worry.
