How alarming is this result? The anteverted uterus measures about 8.6 x 8.5 x 5.7 cm (lWH). A 4.8 x 4.8 x 4.6 cm posterior intramural myoma is seen. The endometrial stripe is echogenic and thickened, measuring about 2.7 cm. The ovaries are not seen in this study. No abnormal masses are appreciated. The posterior cul-de-sac is unremarkable.
According to the reports you have fibroid in the posterior intramural region of the uterus measuring 4.8 x 4.8 x 4.6 cm .Fibroid is benign tumour of the uterus. Treatment of fibroid uterus is both conservative and surgical depending upon many things like age, family is completed or not, symptoms etc.
You also have thickened endometrium. You need proper clinical examination and further investigation like biopsy of endometrium. Proper treatment depend upon clinical findings and investigation reports.
Rest of the findings are normal. You should consult your gynecologist. Hope i have answered your query.
