What Does Non-reactive Values In The Report Suggest?
Hi, A test report says Human Immunodeficiency Virus-I antigen & total antibodies to 1 & 2 (*Chemiluminescence) : Result 0.28.* (Cut off Value : 1.0)INTERPRETATION :Non-Reactive : < 1.0 Reactive : > 1.0. according to cut off value it is non-reactive means negative but then should not the result come as 0.0 and not 0.28? Why it has come 0.28?
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your test is negative. No need to worry. Its not necessary that negative report should have 0.0 value. There is blank value and some baseline activities are always there. You should not worry about value. Your result is negative. Just be relaxed. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
