What Does Nose Congestion Along With Sore Throat Indicate?

Good morning 36 days ago I have an encounter I have performed oral on a male and took a early detection test after 15 days and it came back negative but in the past week I have had a slightly congested nose and this morning I have woke up with a sore throat is this a good indication that I have hiv

Hello,

i can understand your concern. You are most probably having a streptococcus infection. This can be cured by a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin or a cephalosporin.
Do salt water gargling and steam inhalations.
Hiv symptoms do not manifest so soon and you will have symptoms like weight loss, feeling weak, fungal infections. It will not manifest as sore throat. If you notice any lesions or ulcers in the mouth or oral cavity, kindly consult a doctor for a comprehensive sti testing
None the less if you are still worried get a p24 antigen test done for HIV.
