What Does Osteochondral Impact Of Medial Condyle On Knee Mean?
Hi I have been complaining of bad knee pain for 7,weeks I got MRI today s after being told it was a miniscus tear by 3 docs that said I have a osteochondrial impact of the medial condyle on my left knee what does that mean and what will have to be done
As per my clinical experience, the chronic knee trauma, particularly that of meniscus tear may pause issue of calcification in the area over a period of time which is pathological. The osteochondral impact means abnormal ossification or calcification via process of inflammation and deposition of chondral tissue abnormally.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
